On Wednesday, March 22, the Admissions Office hosted a school counselor breakfast that brought over 50 local counseling professionals to campus. Hudson Valley staff shared information about academic programs, the new Honors College, the vision for HVCC North and the Questar III/HVCC STEM High School.
In addition to the planned topics, the Admissions staff along with the College in the High School staff enjoyed a dialogue with the visiting school counselors on topics such as academic preparedness, CIHS summer offerings, program trends and new procedures designed to benefit their students.

Special thanks to Vice President Louis Coplin who kicked things off with a warm welcome, Dr. Jonathan Ashdown, Patricia Hyland, Robert Phillip, Lamyaa Hassib, Kim Sparkman, Deb Shoemaker and Andy Roberts for sharing their expertise and knowledge with our group, and to Zach Yannone and Video Services for all the assistance with the set-up, technology needs and last-minute requests.
